Welcome to Cimarron Middle School in Parker, Colorado. It is an honor to be the principal in such an incredible community. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics. I pursued my passion and started my career in education at Valley High School and Liberty Middle School before moving to Douglas County School District. With these experiences, I am honored to be a part of Cimarron Middle School’s staff. I have been fortunate to be a part of the Legend feeder since opening as a math teacher, assistant principal, and principal. My wife is a teacher in DCSD and we are so excited for our two kids to begin their education in the Legend feeder. I have always had a passion for being around students and supporting others in their pursuit to achieve their goals. I believe in Cimarron’s mission in building relationships that help foster a positive learning environment. I look forward to partnering with you to build a great foundational middle school experience.

I am so excited to be a part of the Cimarron family again this year!  I graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelors in Biology and then earned my Masters in Education Leadership from Regis University.  I have spent 15 amazing years in education so far.  During that time I taught middle school science for six years and then served as a middle school assistant principal for the past eight years.   My heart and passion lies with supporting middle school students, staff, and families.  I believe that by providing safe learning environments coupled with top notch instruction, every child can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in order to become a life-long learner with a focus on individual growth.  I am looking forward to another amazing year supporting Cimarron staff, students, and families

I am so excited to join the Cimarron community!  I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Oregon. For over a decade, I've taught intermediate and middle school grades in both Oregon and Salt Lake City, Utah. Throughout my journey, I've served as a math coach, acted s the Online Systems Student Success Administrator, developed curriculum and district-level systems, and most recently served as a high school assistant principal in Southern Oregon. Now, I am thrilled to serve as an assistant principal here at Cimarron. Outside of education, I am passionate about baseball (Go Mariners!), reading, and spending time outdoors with my wife and our three children. I am eager to contribute to the vibrant community here at Cimarron. I firmly believe that students are at the heart of everything we do as educators and that fostering strong relationships among our families and school community is crucial to their success. Building positive relationships it vital to creating a safe environment where all are challenged and empowered to reach their highest potential. I am looking forward to an amazing year. Go Colts!

I am thrilled to be joining Cimarron Middle School this year. I am starting my 17th year in education. My journey began teaching high school math, where I spent 8 years before discovering my true passion for working with middle school students. The energy, curiosity, and potential of this age group continually inspire me. When I am not at school, you can find me spending quality time with my amazing family- my wonderful husband and our three energetic boys. We enjoy attending sporting events, spending time outdoors and staying active. Whether it's hanging out with friends or exploring new places, I am always up for an adventure. I am deeply passionate about forming meaningful relationships with students and creating a positive impact in their lives and look forward to an amazing year!
