Welcome to Cimarron Middle School in Parker, Colorado. It is an honor to be the principal in such an incredible community. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics. I pursued my passion and started my career in education at Valley High School and Liberty Middle School before moving to Douglas County School District. With these experiences, I am honored to be a part of Cimarron Middle School’s staff. I have been fortunate to be a part of the Legend feeder since opening as a math teacher, assistant principal, and principal. My wife is a teacher in DCSD and we are so excited for our two kids to begin their education in the Legend feeder. I have always had a passion for being around students and supporting others in their pursuit to achieve their goals. I believe in Cimarron’s mission in building relationships that help foster a positive learning environment. I look forward to partnering with you to build a great foundational middle school experience.

I am so excited to be joining the Cimarron family this year! I graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelors in Biology and then earned my Masters in Education Leadership from Regis University. I have spent 12 amazing years in education so far. During that time I taught middle school science for six years and then served as a middle school assistant principal for the past five years. My heart and passion lies with supporting middle school students, staff, and families. I believe that by providing safe learning environments coupled with top notch instruction, every child can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in order to become a life-long learner with a focus on individual growth. I am looking forward to another amazing year supporting Cimarron staff, students, and families.

I am so so excited to be coming back to Cimarron for the third year! Being born and raised in Nepal, I grew up looking at the beautiful mountains. My educational journey brought me to Minnesota, where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degree in speech-language pathology. Since I missed the mountains so much, I moved to Colorado with my wonderful husband in 2015. I worked at three different schools in low socio-economic neighborhoods in Denver for a year before moving to Douglas County School District. I have been fortunate to work with students in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school throughout my career. My lifelong hunger for learning made me want to pursue a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, which brought me to Cimarron! Educating the whole child is a philosophy I believe in which requires all stakeholders' support. I value relationships and teamwork and look forward to getting to know the students, staff, families, and the community at Cimarron. I am so glad to be a part of an amazing school!
